In both AmpKit and AmpKit+, an amazing array of additional gear modeled after real-world equipment is available for purchase through an in-app Gear Store. Any idea if this works with the Amplitube iphone/ipad software as well? This seems to be a better piece of hardware than the iRig, but I’d really love to just buy one piece of hardware and get to try out both software packages.

Yes, really better than irig. Less noise, higher volume, more accurate sound, the adaptater is built to prevent from feedback so you can put the hole thing on higher gain than amplitube’s
